PHELAN-HEISE, Brigid -
Peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, Brigid decided that her work here was complete and let the Lord take her home. Beloved wife of Peter for 52 years. Loving Mom to Christina and Mary-Katherine along with her husband Paul Dooher. Proud Granny B to Zachary and Joseph. Brigid will be dearly missed by her in-laws Ken and Eleanor, Tom and by special friends Ruth, John and Heather, Chris, Joyce as well as the teams she worked with at Durham Mental Health Services. She is predeceased by her parents Edmund and Dorothy Pheland and her brother John Timothy. Brigid will always be known for her quick wit, loving nature and never ending dedication to help the vulnerable people in our community. A great lady who taught us to listen openly, love deeply and never miss an opportunity to be silly. Brigid’s family would like to thank the teams at Paramed and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their support. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21st 2016 at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, from 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 22nd at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church at 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby.
