Obituary for Doreen Mair Allen (Jones)

ALLEN, Doreen Mair (nee Jones) -
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 91st year. Doreen met the love of her life, Norman, at the age of 18, and they immigrated to Canada from England in 1955. They were blessed with 66 years of marriage. Wonderful mother to David (Arrona) and Valerie. A proud grandma to Nicole. Doreen will be fondly remembered by her sister Edna (Bill), and predeceased by her siblings Maldwyn (Enid), Edward, Gwen, Wilfred (Joyce), Fred (Eileen), Robert, John and Vera. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, the family will have a private service to celebrate her life. Condolences may be expressed online at www.wctownfuneralchapel.com. Donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
